On the new afc neo, what is the IG power? what would these be? and for the rpm wire, could I just run a line from the + side of the coil?

IG would be ignition or in otherwords hot key on not hot with key off.
Tach feeds are usually neg coil but you should search up here on the topic cuz I think you could blow the factory tach with some of those.
there are two IG Power wires, on my ecu pinout sheet it has VCC1 and VCC2, do those two have anything to do with the IG Power wires?
you want the 2 yel/black wires next ot each other on the ecu. cant remember what plug, but they are next to each other, that come off the main really and are switched on when ignition is in run/start position... check with voltmeter first, but i'm pretty sure they are.
rpm wire(blue) does not goto the ecu, it goes to the tach in the dash. you want the blue wire coming off the coil or neg mentioned in previous posts. might be easier just to look for the blue wire on the coil.. (ecu can tell rpm from dizzy sensors directly) so you will not find rpm wire/reading from there.

so the two wires IG Power 1 and IG Power 2 corresspond to a full black and full yellow wire in the harness? am i correct saying that?
ig 1 and ig 2 are power from ignition correct, altho they should be yellow/black. not full yellow or full black..
full black is groud off the ecu.
on connector "A"(i thinkkk its been a while) or somthing you should see a patern where there are 2 larger solid black wires then 2 smaller yel/black wires next to them top to bottom.
I'm doing this from the harness, being as the ecu is under the rear ashtray. So its a black and yellow wire? both of them?
its a yellow wire with a black stripe, or vise versa.. should be divided from the rest of the wires with 2 black(ground) wires. use a multi meter on yel/black(yellow wire/black stripe) at the ecu, it should only provide 12v when the ignition is on in the run position.
i just remember that most obd1/obd2 hondas are like that, but when i did my obd0 efi swap the yel/black was still IG power to the ecu was the same, just might not be in the place i think it is... but its still +12v when ignitions on..
coming to think of it.... why not pull hte power from the +12v ignition wire to yer cd player, then you dont have to have wires running all over the place.

so, the two IG power lines are just to power the afc? and as you stated, why not just tap something that is only on when its in on, do I need to run both lines? wouldn't it be able to get enough powere from a wire source?
bump
Here you go this should slove your problem....

I have that one, and if I remember correctly, you have a afc in your car. Did you connect the red and red/white wire to the VCC1 and VCC2?
No i connected it to A17. But i used a test light to make sure so when u turn your key on turns it on also....just test A15 and A17 man and hold a test light see which one turns on and off when u turn the key...A17 im sure thou cuz A15 is consant. let me know how it goes. An A17 is white/yellow. and A15 is Yellow/black

ok, my manual has two of the IG wires. If they are just power, can't I just use one?
yeah you can...but i would use a test light to make sure.
