5speed fill bolt is removeable if seized

well after i got my tranny in i cracked a socket wide open trying to get the fill bolt lose and i remember so many people having trouble with it....but i made it give in....i had to take the hubnut and balljoint nut off and partially remove the passenger axle to get room to get a pipe wrench on it. Everythings surrenders to big damn pipe wrench. But if that sounds like too much work you could probably get a baby pipe wrench on it with a hollow pipe for leverage and break it loose.
In the end...it doesn't even matter.

I'll give that a try. I got a new one from the dealer, but haven't tried (i think this would make the forth time) to get that bolt out. Those big diameter threads are going to take a lot of torque to break loose.

I hope you used some anit-seize compound this time.
