Exteriors and interiors often didn't have any correlation. But no, SE-is only came in tan and black. (interior wise) Then again, I've seen people call them SE-i armrests all the time when they have cloth on them lol.

SE-i's just had them more often, I think. They were an option on any trim level, were they not? At least on the LX-i.
They were optional both from the factory and from the dealer. The factory ones are the fully integrated ones that are seamless to the shifter console, the dealer ones are the ones that bolt on over the e-brake cover. No worries, you were both right![]()
yay 3gee education!
as long as I learn a little everyday I'll know my car that much better lol
Charlie, you're right and wrong.
In '88, the White DX was available with blue or maroon interiors, while the White LX-i was available only with maroon. The '89 White DX and LX-i was only available in maroon, no blue anymore.
As for the 86/87, I have no idea, but I do know someone who had an '86 White LX-i which had blue, so maybe 86/87 had blue or maroon in both trim levels, but I don't know. To be honest, I don't remember ever seeing an 86/87 White DX, only LX-i.
Anyway, I digress... Rooz, I really like those dual piston calipers. YUM>
I'm about to lose the DC headers and PaceSetter Adjustable Short throw shifter to another member, but there might be a few more items added to the list to replace them. Who knows really.

yes, twin piston calipers are indeed super nice. someone should buy mine. har har /shameless self promotion
doesn't the twin piston setup have a smaller rotor like the 86-87's? i would think the 88-89's would be better due to the larger size vs the dual piston, i would assume the dual piston just provides even/greater "clamping power"

I have this as far as rare parts go:

Needless to say, I need new ones of those BAD!!

Yeah I figured they are rare. Paid 40 bucks for them (+shipping)..![]()
Lol the labour will take time on that!!!
But was a good deal, got it together with the JDM corners for about €100 shipped + tax and customs at arrival.
Is there a difference between the JDM and EDM front bumpers that you got one from NZ?
But yeah that's a bigger part too, so shipping would've been high I guess!?
ive got an arm rest and an a2k5
- OEM SE-i cup holders
- OEM LX-i armrest (maroon and cloth, therefore not SE-i)
- JDM fog light harness (everything except the glass)
- JDM fog light button
