Anyone using a carb tank with efi swap?

i wanna know if anyone here has converted from carb to efi and not swapped their tank??? does it fuel surge lots when the tanks udner half full... any input appriciated.

As far as I know, everyone that swapped to EFI swapped tanks, too.

I know it has to be set up with the FI sender , pump, and return lines
Also there is an integrated baffle or something that keeps the fuel pickup in submerge at all times

Yeah when i did my efi swap i swapped the tank.

ill try and get a tank from the junkyard, preferably one with fuel in it

i didn't swap my tank when i did my efi conversion. you have the bend the shit out of the pump bracket so it will fit in the tank as it is not deep in that area and not baffled, i found that if i didn't keep at least 1/2 a tank of gas in the car, it would start to run dry around corners and under hard braking. my recommendation, is get the proper tank.
