    Ouch sucks.

You can get gaskets fron this company if you want:

    http://bgautomotive.co.uk/

That's what I'm using on my car. They're located in the UK and give fast shipping. You can always order 2 or 3 gaskets... just in case something goes wrong.

The gasket you need is this part number CH8303

    Re: It's Toast

if the block was o ring grooved it would have bent a rod or something? or would that have saved the gasket?

    edit: oops wrong motor NVM

    Re: It's Toast

Well i hope its an easy fix. What are you running for fuel management. You should in vest in something with over boost protection. I'm running eCtune and have my over boost set at a pound of boost above what i want to run, If it hits it the ecu will cut ignition until the throttle is lifted.

    Re: It's Toast

what headgasket were you using that blew? just stock/oem?

could also look at getting a copper gasket. they are a bitch to get installed 'properly' but should hold well once they are properly installed especially if you get some nice head studs/bolts. :)

Im using crome and it did cut off but it went from 8psi to 20+ just like that then pop and a shit load of white smoke.

The head gasket i am using is AJUSA it better then the stock head gasket but not meant to do 20+psi.And i called GASKET WORKS USA to see about a copper head gasket and it going to set me back about $180 for it so if i blow another one i am going copper gasket. And i do have APR Head studs. Here some pic's of the ajusa head gasket.
