ive seen guys that have the turn signals that flash fast... how does this happen?? i really wanna know
it happens when one of the turn signal lights are out on whichever side to let you know a bulb needs to be changed.

i am having problems with my driver side head light as well. this thread seemed to be the most helpful. the driver side always stays dim and when i turn on the hi beams the left side turns off and the right goes to hi. the right side is fine. do you think this could be a ground problem? do i have to remove my bumper and fender to fix this? its seems more like a power problem to me, the right headlight sucks all the power so the left get little to no power. possible my alternator?

The high beam filament is open on the driver's side & the low beam filament is probably about to fail as well. You could verify the open filament w/ a meter, or you may be able to see that it's open if you look closely. Replace the headlight & rechk. I think it's a 6054.

The headlights appear brand new. No rust, or corrosion on the headlights where it connects to the wire.

    Re: headlight dimming

I located the three wires that connect to the headlight, I'm assuming the black wire is the ground wire. If I were to cut the black wire and solder a new wire to the cut end of the black wire and ground it to the engine would that fix my problem if it was a ground wire issue?

Why don't you try what I suggested before you start cutting wires? Headlights aren't that expensive. Or just swap driver's side w/ pass. side to verify.
