there is stuff called rust converter. get it from super cheap or repco
spray the stuff on and it changes the rust to iron phosphate or something like that.
makes it go all white or black depending on the brand.
then you can either wire brush it off to nice shiny metal or just use a zinc primer on it and paint.

the silly thing is that lots of mechanics still think that 3gs use macpherson struts so check ball joints in the strut way which is wrong for our cars.
they just jack the car up in the air and get the bar under the wheel.
with wishbones you gotta jack under the lca to take the load off the joint before sticking the bar under it.
gets you a wof doing it the wrong way but are you sure you want it with known duff ball joints?

i think it must have a really slow leak. thats okay though cause teh mobil is just a hundred metres or so up the road so i can just pump up the tyre when it gets flat lol
check the valve stem to see if its leaking.
