I just impulse bought a pioneer AVH-P4000 something for $150. Seemed like a good idea at the time, but now I don't know where to put it, because I wanna keep my center console (houses a switch and sirius dock).
Ideal would be anyone who cut out the ashtray/cigarette outlet spot. Help me out?

put it in the center console and move the other shit. easier than cutting the dash all up for something that more than likely wouldn't look like factory or even decent fit after you finished.

ya if you put it any where near the stock location it would have to be mounted out a bit cause it would hit the stuff above or it would constantly be at the strange level you could not see lol center console is the only place
indeed. with a little bit of work it can be made to look factory
you can also get some single din sized cup holders to go where the stereo used to go lol

My dash is already hacked to bits by the previous owner in the stock slot. Kinda hoping I could clean that up by putting this dvd player there as opposed to buying a new dash. Money is VERY tight, I have to pay school $5200 in the next 3 weeks.
Coincidentally, anybody know a good pimp in the alberta region?
