    Worn camshaft, gentle reminder

When I swapped in my used engine, I noted that its camshaft lobes were pitted and worn. Since then, I've had a very rough idle. I put a vacuum gauge on it today and learned that my valves are sticky. That would explain the worn cam lobes then.

I know I harp on it a lot, but if you plan to keep your 3gee forever (some of us do), always use premium gas and good oil. My recommendations are Chevron premium and Mobil 1.
