i need to replace my front right CV and i can find 4 brands on rockauto and only one brand i know ive seen before. the one they sell comes with an ABS ring however and i dont have that i dont think, can you still use that axle with the abs ring, or does it need to be removed/ can it be removed?

    https://www.3geez.com/forum/showthre...blem-(WARNING)

look thru this link for some pictures.

I guess it matters where the ring is attached to fit. It shouldnt come with one to be correct.

Only issue I'm having is that rockauto only has that trakmotive or whatever one for my auto from left, the others have the ring and I honestly can't tell from the photos they have

Try some local to you Auto parts places and brings yours in to compare. There used to parts problems they can help you pick out the correct one.

There used to be a few places around here that rebuild them you might try something like that. Technically the CV joint is rebuild-able, they used to sell kits with seals, boot, grease and new balls for them and you would do it yourself.

yeah i called my advance and they said they cant get anything in, same with oreillys, autozone, and napa. i had to order it online from oreillys since it had free shipping, its the same as trakmotive from what ive read but at least i have a warranty with it. i had to order more stuff aswell like a wheel bearing tie rods and the control arms thats ACTUALLY screwed and not the one that the guy i got the car from had. bushings for the control arm show up tomorrow
