    removing emissions crap

    if i removed the emissions crap would my car still run right?

    also would removing the manifold heater on the exaust manifold to intake manifold help any?

    thats the EGR pipe... the manifold heater is the coolant hoses that run from the water pipe to the manifold then to the thermostat housing.

    yea if you've got an aftermarket carb and aftermarket headers will help too or you'll go through hell like I did trying to plug the holes in the header with something that can handle the heat

    I just welded the 2 pipes on my other header... too bad it ain't on the new car...
