Honda colour codes

This is bound to create much controversy with the Accord having been produced in at least 3 different factories and with different importers choosing (or being offered) different colours according to year, factory of assembly and the Accords perceived marketing, hatchback or sedan and specificaton (standard or LX).

But looking up Honda paint codes for the years the 1st generation Accord was offered will give you this list, including colours for the Accord, Civic and Prelude. & I can't speak for its accuracy....

Looking at the list with about a dozen different metallic blues shows its capacity for confusion but at the minimum you should be able to find a colours name if you can find its code number usually printed on a sticker on the door jamb.

The idea was to find pictures of Accords in all the various colours & add them to the list with the paint colour code & name for all to see.

Not sure of the best way to arrange this
-list with pictures directly above name -which would require this opening post to be opened up for everyone to edit...
-Or simply a chaos of posted pictures with codes/names & years following it.. Which we might regularly add to the original list.

where should i look to see the colour code? i think my car was originally oslo ivory...hehe.i suspect jose amoy's green accord is the same colour of 81vintyminty. least i believe so....

The colour code number was usually printed on a sticker near the drivers door striker.

& I just realized my '80 parts Prelude is Tudor Red Metallic while my 2nd Accord is '79 Valencia Red metallic, so I should be able to take a photo of some parts alongside one another to show the difference, (when I find my camera's memory card).
