Bumpers?

which bumpers will fit an 87 lx sedan? I cant seem to find one . I found an 86 dx sedan on ebay but not sure if it will fit.

any 3g front bumper will fit on any 3g lol,
and any rear sedan bumper will fit a sedan, and any rear coupe bumper will fit a coupe, and any rear hatch bumper will fit a hatch lolol

Johnny, Dark is right, but just be aware that there was a mid-generation change with the sedans. The 86 and 87 sedan front bumpers are identical, and the 88-89 are identical, but there is a difference between the 86-87 and 88-89. The hatches, all years (86-89) are all the same, and are identical to the 86-87 sedans. Coupes were only made in 88-89, and their front bumpers are identical to the 88-89 sedans.

That said, as Dark mentioned, all bumpers are interchangeable among one another. Just be aware that the bumper lights are not. They follow the same rules as above.

i like the 86 ans 87 front bumpers becuase it has the dip on the front. which is sweet. it mkaes the front end look like a transformer. its PIOMP

the rear bumper of hatchback will only fit hatchback . will not fit coupe or sedan. its like 4 inches shorter . i had 89 bumper from a coupe and had to cut a bunch off to make it fit my 87 hatch .or it would have went up to and rubbed over tires

no worries man, u were able to get that name because no-one else had it. Doesn't matter if someone else has something close. Ironically enough, I'm pretty good friends with Johnny-O. (He's got a 10-second hatch btw).

...but as 89sei89dx said, the rear bumpers are a whole different story here.
