Pull one from a junkyard, or go to ebay.

If you're selling it, definitely get a junkyard unit. Just don't let it kick you in the nuts again, though. K?

Re: Is There A Cheaper Fuel Pump Out There?

sounds like a voltage drop from a poor ground or a so so relay.

I know some people used a gm fuel pump , not sure exactly if any fabracation is involved hanging it. It would posslbly last enough to get rid of the car but ideally you would use a FPR

Re: Is There A Cheaper Fuel Pump Out There?

NO you are playing with fire, there is a reason it runs on a relay. NBD, they are like a cpl bucks at the JY.
YOu dont want to sell the car to somebody and it burns up the following day

Re: Is There A Cheaper Fuel Pump Out There?

you should be able to just bypass the relay by putting a wire between the yellow wire & black/yellow wire on the main relay plug

Check The Fuse Before Anything, I Had Same Issue. Changed The #1 Fuse (fuel Pump/starter) 15a. Everything Was Good To Go After. I Have An 87 Dx.
