    Damn I thought I had a tough time with my 86 and everything under my hood (that isn't missing) is stock! I admire your tenacity to make your setup work through trail-and-error. Keep it up!

    Re: The OFFICAL RENDON LX-i TURBO THREAD

    no.....i havent started it. IM really slacking... NO just cause im tired but snow tire season is hell right now. Really busy. so when i get home im so tired i go to bed. .....prolly sometime this week. Everything is on. pan is on...just have to basicly take the car off the jack stands and add oil. Other then that its pretty much done.

    In jan im going to Make a sub harness instead of buying incridables harness. Sorry for the spelling . IM bad at it LOL. doing the whole obd1 deal. ....so that well be done in jan.....ill post a vid of the start up and see it it smokes again. which i dont think so. The Turbo bearings where pretty messed up. Like they got really hot. Again for the crappy oil drain. Oil was just sitting there and not going where it was supposed to

    Re: Rendon Lx-I Boosted Sedan Build

    LOL......i know i know. Im having problems with the battery. I might just convert it back to Front and have it setup like Roaches setup. Bare with me guys....ill have her up and running in no time.....plus i get chrismas goodies.

    Question Thou. How do i controll the 450 with the obd1 put on. Do i have the resister box still connected.i seen some D series fellas run no resistors on there injectors to control the duration. Thats where im having the confusion. I know my buddy noes since he helping me out Doing this. But i just wanted to know from the obd1 guys such as 89T and BTW whats your real name LOL. everyone calls me rendon since thats the last name. But i just wanted to know yours......

    let me know.....Im pumped for the convo. And if this motor blows while tunning with the obd1 convo. Ill just throw in another stock motor for the trip to medford. i have 3 motor setting aside.

    Re: Rendon Lx-I Boosted Sedan Build

    The dsm's are peak and hold injectors so you will need the resistor box.
    The accord shares the same trait, they are low impedance .

    Most if not all obd1 Honda ecu's use saturated or high impedance injectors.
    The only way to get around that is use peak and hold injectors and use the resistor box. Which you are using now.

    If you wanted to you can purchase same/larger saturated injectors, but the down fall to you is rewiring the injectors minus the resister box.

    I read some where that peak and holds are better suited for racing applications.. Everyone has an opinion... right..

    so the breakdown.
    peak and hold = low impedance(+ The resistor box = hi impedance)
    saturated = high impedance

    ooh! the spare set is a spare set, not a for sale set!lol..
