Power locks

I have manuel locks as of now on my coupe. My ? is has anyone done a swap to power locks? If so how did the swap pan out?

you can add a alarm with remote locks
and just get actuators to move the lock
the hardest part is getting the door panel off and mounting the actuators

I was wanting to do an oem swap. I love the fact that I can lock the passenger door when I lock the drivers side. That was the reason I wanted to swap them.

probably be easiest to just get new doors from a JY. with all the wiring and switches involved, this would make the most sense. and then you have power windows too!

I have power windows now, but that sounds like the best way to go about getting the locks I want.

you could use the stock switch on the aftermarket actuators plus you would need 2 pass side switches to make it look ok

I added after market actuators to my Alarm for keyless entry which is fairly straight forward. I think the hardest part that i recall was getting the wire from the door to the cabin. As for using OEM actuator i doubt that they would fit a coupe door just for the simple fact they were never available in any coupe/hatch model.

Yeah, you pretty much have to go with aftermarket actuators.
