    Cali here I come

    Well the Fogged man is moving. Ill be in Nor-cal (Tracy) by Feb. I sold my company and im going home. My kids love the fact that we are moving and my wife hates it, but she really dont have a choice. I made more money in Cali than I ever have here. Looks like Mr. Coupe will see a smog shop soon. Yeaaaaaaaa

    Remeber boys and girls Coupes rule, Hatchies drule, and 4 doors are for mothers..........

    cali if ftw tracy is pretty close to a lot of the norcal bay area people definately some kinda meet distance for you for the nor cal people who probably have the sickest 3g's anyways ;]

    Yeah, looks like I'll finally be joining up with you Cali dudes in summer of 2010. They want Mama to be team leader on the new construction of the Camp Pendleton hospital.

    Wow, haven't be to California in like 15 years.

    Yeah I just have to figure out which one of our cars gets stuffed in the moving trailer and which gets a dollie ride behind my F350. I would like to put Mr. Coupe in the moving trailer but im a lil nerves about it. Hell the same can be said about a 1800 mile dollie ride.
    Oh yeah ill have to meet up as soon as we are all in.

    ile b there l8 november. be sure to get plenty rest b4 the trip, rest every 2hrs, and watch out for cops n truckers. and "Monster" is my best friend on long trips!!!

    With my move back to Cali getting close. I had a few ? that I need to ask. 1) Will I have to take out my Spoon rezzie? (Its not 50 state legal) 2)Will I have to change out my CAI as it dont have a carb sticker? 3) Whats the legal db level for a muffler? If I have over looked anything pls let me know.

    1)well will the cat pass smog cause most place dont look at them
    and if you have the stock one it might just be easyer to swap them out

    2)you will have to go stock intake if you dont have a carb number for the cai

    3)
    California law requires that all vehicles must be equipped with an adequate muffler to prevent excessive noise from the exhaust system. It also prohibits the operation of a passenger vehicle (other than a motorcycle), or a truck with a Gross Vehicle Weight Rating (GVWR) of less than 6,000 pounds, that has an exhaust noise level greater than 95 decibels, when tested under specified conditions.

    the only other thing i can think off after looking at the one pic i found of your car that was at a real bad angle is the tint if your fronts are done up cops might bug you mine are done but i noramlly have them rolled down like 24-7-365 lol

    mine passed even with a modified exhaust.....87 db at peak...so it was cool.

    My tint is only 20%. They are real light. As for my exaust, a friend knows a cop. He gave me a db test (3000rpm held steady and him 10ft from the back of my car) and it hit 97 dbs.
