    type r

    is it possible to swap 81.00mm type r pistons into my a20? if so how far would i bore the cyliders and whats the proper "piston to wall clearence?" Thanx in advance!!!

    They won't work since our bore is ~83mm(more or less).

    stock bore is 82.7mm

    why do you want type-r pistons/?? just get some custom diamond pistons if you need something other than stock.

    Diamond will make you some sexy high compression forged pistons for about $500 ish. if you are going that way you should get some nice rods too. for rods get an LS integra (non vtec) rod. the wrist pin will need to be 21mm on the piston to be compatible with the rods, so make sure you tell diamond that when you get the pistons.

    good luck with the na build. you won't be able to swap in a b16 easily unless you can fab.

    yeah high compression turbo is the way to go...89 turbo has like 10.5 to 1 and is making like 230whp

    You just have to have a better tune since it will be less forgiving the higher the compression ratio.
