    2000 Mazda Miata MX-5

    Hello everyone,

I am selling my 2000 Mazda Miata MX-5. I am the second owner and have meticulously cared for it since I first touched it in May of 08.

The sheer beauty of this particular Miata sets it apart from most other 2000 Miatas with 70,000 miles. The engine is just getting broken in and is beginning to yield extremely good gas mileage numbers. Keeping track between each time I stopped at the gas station, I saw a consistent 30-32 MPG CITY and 35-37 MPG HIGHWAY on 93 octane fuel. The condition of the exterior and interior are the direct result of careful driving and constant cleaning & conditioning. You only have to look at this car in person once to see the remarkable condition its been kept in and makes you really sit back and say, "Wow" like I did the first time I laid eyes on it.

This is no plain Jane Miata. The Fully Loaded Options according to this particular car's New Vehicle Window Sticker include:

    Safety and Security Features:

    -Side impact door beams
    -Dual front air bags (SRS)
-Passenger front air bag with deactivation switch (for children)
    -Key activated alarm system

    Powertrain Features:

-1.8L DOHC inline 4 cylinder engine with Variable Intake Manifold Runners
-Rear Wheel Drive 5 speed manual transmission
-Torsion Limited Slip Rear Differential (Rare Miata option)
    -Power assisted 4-wheel disc brakes
-Power rack and pinion steering system
    -4-wheel dual-wishbone independent suspension
    -50/50 weight distribution

    Interior Features:

-Nardi Torino 3-spoke factory steering wheel (Rare Miata option)
    -Leather reclining bucket seats
    -Dual cup holder
    -Locking center console storage area
    -Locking glove box
-BOSE Audio System w/ 8" door woofers and 1.5" door tweeters
    -CD/Cassette player with AM/FM radio
    -Cruise control
    -Digital odometer/A&B tripometer
-Cold AC and HOT heater functions
    -Glass rear window with defogger
-Wind blocker behind seats with anti-draft panel for convertible top

    Exterior Features:

-The Rare 15" Factory Five Spoke Alloy Wheels
-195-50-15 tires with 3/4 life left on them
    -Original Equipment Miata Styling Kit
    -Free-surface reflector halogen headlights
    -Fog lights
    -Dual power mirrors
    -Tan vinyl top

According to the Owners Manual recommended service intervals, the car is 100% up to date with all service suggestions.

I am an ASE certified technician and have done the following maintenance to it since I bought the car in the Spring:

-Oil changes after 2500 miles with Mobil 1 synthetic
-A professional oil flush and conditioning machine was used after first oil change I performed (oil is extremely clean and stays that way)
-Engine Restore was used with the second oil change (Repairs imperfections in the cylinder walls caused by normal engine wear after approx. 50,000 miles)
    -New NGK platinum spark plugs
    -New OE air filter
    -New OE fuel filter
-Mass Airflow Sensor was throughly cleaned with correct cleaner (significant difference and -highly recommend for all Hot Wire Mass Airflow Sensors every 20K miles)
-Transmission flush and refill with Mobil 1 synthetic transmission oil
-Rear Differential flush and refill with Mobil 1 Synthetic differential oil
-New brake pads front and rear
-3 step Auto Armor Protection system performed in June (Paint protection, fabric stain protection & waterproofing of interior, and a full rubberized undercoating on the underside of the chassis)
    -Inspected through June of 09

If you are looking for one of the cleanest, best equipped 100% stock 2000 Miatas on the road, look no further. Here it is. I hope its next owner treats it with the same kind of care that I have, because in the right hands this car will last a lifetime.
