    vaccum advance help

ok, when I tried to advance the timing on my car. I could not loosen one of the screws because it is behind the vaccum advance. This my be a stupid question, but how do I get to that screw? I can't get the vaccum advance thing off. Thanks for the help, I love this place!

    vise grips might help.
The vacumm advance is held on with a c-clip inside. Take off the cap and rotor and you'll see it. Tht's as far as I went, I couldn't get the c-clip off
