Actually, that's probably a really good idea. I think I'll do it just for the hell of it, why not? Haha!

More progress today. I got everything done that I wanted. Installed my O2 sensor in the collector. It's now the lowest part on the car. It will probably get knocked off, since I didn't get it up at as high of an angle as I wanted. But as long as I'm careful, it will get me by until I can get that header built.

I'm probably going to look into getting a header made in July, so if you guys are interested in one as well, I will talk to them about getting a few made up. I'll probably start a thread and see how much interest I can generate if they can mass produce some and get the costs down. Wow that's sort of off topic.

My new control arms fit just like they should have. No problems, so either those other arms were just shit, or they were really for the 82-83 Accords with the different front crossmember, which is why the bolt holes for the radius rods didn't line up. The suspension is so nice, and no more weird noises coming from up front!! So awesome! Alignment this week and it will be so kick ass to drive again!

I tested my speedo against the GPS, and I found that it's showing about 8-10mph slow. So when my speedo says 60, I'm doing 68, and when it shows 70, I'm doing 79. And so on. Getting used to pulling up to 7000RPM.

Since it was way too late tonight to get the videos and pics (12:41am now), I will get the videos tomorrow, when it's light out. And pics of my AEM Wideband setup <3

Okay here you go. Here are pics of my AEM WBO2 setup:

And in this pic you get a broader view. You can see there is still no interior in the car, the center console is just kinda hanging out, it's kind of a big state of disarray. But you get the idea. Also, my fucking sweet ass 1995 model Alpine I found in the wrecking yard, already in an 84 Accord with the proper dash harness already soldered up properly. Looks nice and sounds clean. Great for $25. No blue flashing face plate sliding / WMA / MP3 / OMG bullshit that just takes away from the actual quality of the unit.

Videos coming in a few minutes after I get them edited and posted to the Tubes.

Oh also, just before that I came up on a little ricer Civic on the freeway. I waved and pulled about 5-6 car lengths on him up to about 110mph. Bye Bye.

Yeah it goes good at WOT, but it's got some around town driving issues. I'm hoping the jets I get this week will fix that. If not, I may take it up to a carb shop and see if they have a part for it that I think it needs. I'm having a hell of a time finding that diaphragm online for the secondary accelerator pump. I've been running with it disconnected, so I dunno if that's causing my problems or not.

Re: The JDM B20A 2g Thread w/ Pics!!

Here is is, a whopping 107whp. Shitty. But that was like a 13:1 AFR, and a shitty shitty tune. Car cruised down to the meet at about 10:1 AFR and got about 20MPG. Something is still wrong with the carb, and who knows what the timing curve is like on that Integra distributor.

You can see the torque curve just drop the fuck off hard. Which makes me think that the carb would be too small and it's not getting enough air and fuel. Of course, the carb still has that bad hesitation. After looking through my Weber manuals, I think it might be a plugged progression orifice. That's the only time that the car hesitates and leans out, is when that thing should be adding in fuel. Car cruises rich when running on the mixture screw, car is rich at WOT when running on just main jets, but only lean at about 25% throttle under any load condition.

But yeah, regardless, it pulled on my friend's DOHC ZC-powered CRX, which put down 110whp that day and weighs about 200lbs less. Ha! Torques FTW. And even with two Pho-eating fuckers, this this hauls some decent ass. Can't wait to get back that 30hp that I'm missing, and then start adding power!!!

Re: The JDM B20A 2g Thread w/ Pics!!

Yeah, stock throttle body is 58mm. Which is 2640mm^2 of total area.

The Weber is two 38mm throttle bodies which is 2226mm^2 of total area.

The Weber has only 84% of the flow, if you don't count the venturis, which are even smaller than the barrels themselves, but do have increased velocity to make up for the size. So yeah, Ideally, I might only hit 134whp with this carb on this motor...

Not sure I want to mess with it much more. I just got the carb on there so I could drive it a bit...

Re: The JDM B20A 2g Thread w/ Pics!!

Well the top end of the motor is pretty much fucked. I figured out why it got so noisy suddenly. It wasn't a valve adjustment problem, but a mega oil starvation problem. Turns out that the cams will wear out after only 250 miles if they're not getting properly oiled.

I took the valve cover off and cranked the motor, and there was no oil coming out. Just barely a trickle across the cam lobes after some fairly vigorous cranking. I'm sure the bearings don't look a whole lot better either.

So I guess this means time for rebuild... Which is mega gay, I was really hoping to get to drive this a bit longer. But guess not... :-/
