Dunno. Acura wasn't even selling a vigor in the states untill 92 I believe. Maybe they just called the accord the vigor in gremany or somewhere. Looking more I fond a gen 2 accord labled as an 83 vigor.

Now this is what I like in a car. http://www.luk-korbmacher.de/Autos/s800.htm Even if it has an 800cc air cooled engine in it, I'm sure it can be swaped for a b series >)

The Vigor was pretty much same as the Accord in the 80's and it was around well before we got it over here in North America.

Is that a B20 powered AERODECK in the pic I posted... or does the SI just mean fuel injected.

I think the side shot of that coupe looks great, well it could use a good buff and wax. That car is most likly the size of a mgb. I love those tiny cars, though at 6'4" I probalby can't drive it.

hey i posted this site b4. you guys never pay attention
Yeah the vigor is pretty much the same as the accord (exterior). The rear is abit different in between the taillights (you guys have seen digitized' conversion). So digitized's 3g can be said a vigor.

Was Digitized1's vigor conversion tail actually taken from the JDM Vigor?

    nice sites,
i think 3 gen vigor was available in japan and in countries with right hand side steering wheel.
Plus i like the sites because they have engine specs. i want B18A with dual Keihin carb in my car. i wonder how hard that would be find one?

that site's intense. even if it isn't in english i could spend all day there. but i am confused. every time i look under my hood to find the engine code i never find it. maybe i am looking in the wrong place. i have an 86 LX 4 door. so do i have an A20A? that's what i gathered from that site, but i think i have seen otherwise somewhere else on this board.

On the '88 Accord coupe page:

"Warum nicht der Doppelnockenwellen-Motor verwendet wurde, dürfte Hondas Geheimnis bleiben. So begann eine unsägliche Tradition bei Honda: Nicht das Coupé ist die schnellste und stärkste Modellvariante, sondern eine Limousine."

    Translation:

"Why the dual cam engine wasn't used remains Honda's secret. And so began an unspeakable tradition for Honda: the sedan is the fastest and strongest variant, rather than the coupe."

    Interesting...
