I have a 1987 Accord Exls that i have been told i should convert to vtec, except i don't know that much about engines so was wondering if anyone could give me some info on doing this.
Would also like to know how to tell what type of engine i currently have at the moment.
you should have a b18a (if no one has swapped engines on your car), is it manual? if so, then yes i believe you should do a vtec swap, and send the b18a's gearbox to me
yep it's manual and as far as i know noone has swapped engines on it, just had to get the powersteering redone and get all the brake hoses replaced when i got it (powersteering wasn't connected because it had a leaking hose then and previous owners put the wrong brake hoses on)
any information on a vtec swap would be nice
