    Get and N1.

Anyways you'll need to do some engine work, get a header and go for a 2.25 full exhaust.

Take your cat off and put a straight pipe on. Ebay usually has test pipes you can buy. You'll have to put it on yourself though. It is illegal to not have a cat.

Yeah but their just bolt on's so when it comes time to smog it (if need be) just put your cat back on. Don't toss it!! I also found that just the strait pipe without any other mods doens't make it ALL that much louder, but I did notice more in the performance, not much but some. It was louder when I flipped my lid.

To my 87 LXi I took the whole stock exaust off except for the manifold, I bent some 2 1/2" pipe all the way from where it will bolt up to the end of the car where I was gonna weld the muffler onto it, I ended up welding the pipe to the end of the downpipe and welded the muffler on, and when the car was running it was louder then fuck, but more of like a deap bass loud.

I alaways thought mufflers made the car quieter.

live with a loud muffler for a while, grow up, and then you'll wish you hadn't.

Its not a real muffler, most of these "Mufflers" out these days aren't mufflers. they are Glasspacks. his 3A Racing Muffler is a Glasspack for an import. Only real mufflers out are Flow Master, Magnaflow, and Dynomax

muffler or silensor, u see the difference? Umm, something talling us about deadening the sound? well it does not say to how much level of quietness and OEM mufflers are designed to be quiet to give the car, smooth running sound.

where are you from? in a lot of places you might get a noise ordinance, or get in trouble for not having a cat.

    I have a Hooker "muffler"
I don't understand people that pay $ for a muffer that's loud as fuq when the car sounds badass with an open pipe (if you can stand the noise). I can't imagine driving like that every day though, my head was buzzing after driving like 1/2 an hour and it was fighting my stereo too much
