    Too many miles for cold air intake?

    Well shit I hope not....anyway I'm at about 216 on my 87 lxi but I want to throw in a CAI...not sure if it'll do my engine in or not. I'm always shitting bricks trying to do any mods to my engine so I want to know if anyone has done this around the same mileage or even higher. My car runs like a champ and I rarely have problems (usually only because of something stupid ive done lol) so I just want to get a couple thumbs up for this

    I have an intake on my car and I am almost to 300k, there is a member with a homemade CAI with 400,000+ as well. Won't do any harm.

    Alright I guess it should be fine...I had a friend put a CAI in his 200X altima and it sounded sexy. I guess it gives it a little more pull too but just the noise alone makes me want to throw one in

    it will be fine. throw one on.. look at a guys car mushroom toys car.. he has over 400K on his and he seems to beat on it daily lol

    Yeah I figure if someone can handle it at 400k+ mine should be good...and thanks again. The interiors taking a while to finish but ehh time and money

    never too many miles for fresh air, I will warn you though if the engine is tired you will hear that thing (CAI) groan a whole lot when the engine really should not be straining.
