Start with the very basics. When was your last tune up? Have you been using good gas? Do you keep the car up or let it go? How does the car run otherwise? Do you drive carefully or aggressively?
The basic preventive maintenance will be your starting point.

i try to maintain it when i notice something wrong i fix it
its been doing it for multiple tanks of gas
it started when the weather got cold
also the fan belt squels like a pig for the first 10 minutes then stops
we drive pretty aggressive
i havent tuned it up in a few years
i put new injectors plugs and wires in a few years ago
what tune up stuff should i start with
lol fan belt
last time you did the fuel filters?
is it all the time hot/cold engine?
timing, plugs, wires, cap, filters air and fuel = basic tune up
"Weight is relative to power like time is relative to speed"
only does it when cold
and i chage the oil every 2000-3000 only use mobil 1 syn
never did any fuel filter
Fuel filter makes a huge difference.
i get 30-35 mpg
where is the fuel filter
on the firewall passenger side. cylinder thing. here...
it's right next to the dog bone mount
"Weight is relative to power like time is relative to speed"
would that make it run bad when cold only?
