    please help!! timing mssed up!h

    holy christ i need help. i need to know how to set the a20 bottom end at TDC. its a manual transmission. i need to know the timing marks or any other way to do it. please friggin help. lol
    88 DX hatch.

    If you're looking at the exhaust manifold from the front, there is a plug to the left of it that you can remove to see the flywheel. Put the car in 5th gear and have someone push the car forward while you look in the access hole. eventually you should see some timing marks. Line up the one for TDC and there you are.

    why not use the bolt on the crank? is this less likely to bump into the valves if you over do it this way?
