quick question about flipping air cleaner cover.

I was going to flip the air cleaner cover on our car but the bolts for the wingnuts are too short. how do i get around this? also will there be any noticeable improvement in performance?

Flip it and put a small bungee cord holding it.. And it will give you a louder sound and a bit more acceleration (I run an automatic and it does)

Re: quick question about flipping air cleaner cover.

back when I had the stock carb I flipped my lid. I had to hammer a little bit to flatten out the lid so the wing nuts would fit on again. I didn't really notice any difference though whether I had it flipped or not.
