The look on a cops face when you press the little red button and leave him in the dust: Priceless
There are just some cars that cops cant catch, for eveyone else, theres NOS.
well i think its DX, LX, LX-I, then SE-I right?
EX was added to the later gen accords as the top model non V-6 powered accord
CX is one of the Civic models, HX might be too im not sure
eh, im just a n00b so im not completely sure of all of it
88-89 accord came in DX(basic nothing with carb engine), LX (everything power, no sunroof, engine still carb), LXi (everything power, sunroof, and engine is EFI), SEI ( fully loaded, arm rest, cup holder and leather seats, oh yeah sunroof).
Cx and Hx are civic identifications.
Alex.
Canada had different designations, too.
Thank you for your input

I don't believe ANY of the 3g coupes came with sunroofs. And, they did make SEi coupes.
Canada had the EX and the EX-i....basically the equivalent of the American versions: LX & LX-i.........i know this because i owned 2 EX-i's and now i own an American LX-i.
SE stands for SPECIAL EDITION. The SEi was only available in 89. Honda has done this with the Accord during the last year of a generation since the 2G/3G transition in 85.

A coupe with no Sunroof, lol ok. The LXi and SEi's mostly all came with Sunroof. I dont think all of them, but most of them. Its in the Brochure
Mine is an LXi coupe and has no sunroof. I also have power windows and mirrors, but no power door locks.Originally posted by MSIAccord_LXi

i have a sunroof and mine is a coupe lx-i . it's a '89 if thats any difference.
Go back and look at your brochures closely. The Coupes and hatchbacks did not come from the factory with a sunroof, or power door locks. Only the sedans had factory sunroofs.
The SE-i and LX-i coupes that have sunroofs were put in by the dealers before they were sold, and are aftermarket ones, as mine is.
If you have an LX-I or SE-i coupe with a power sunroof I would reallly like to see a close up picture of it from the out side.
89 Accord SE-i Coupe
89 Accord LX-i Coupe
Yes I confirm that. No sunroof or power door locks on COUPES from factory.
hehe my coupe doesn't have power locks (don't need em anyways) nor do I have a sunroof (don't need anyways) hehe
