parts from cars in junkyard?

I visited the junkyard today and they had a few cars that caught my eye, they had a early 90's or late 80's honda accord 2.0 something, 4 door, a honda prelude, about the same year, and a honda civic that was bit newer, anything I could take from these cars to make mine better or faster or anything? i have a 1988 honda accord lxi 5 spd, all of the were 5 spds too I think except the honda accord.

Not really. Your Accord has the highest rated HP for the A series engines that exist in the US.

if you can find any brand name aftermarket part's grab those. headers/exhaust, sus, rear disk brakes. idk... a set of alum alloy rims?

they actually had a few sets of nice rims but they were 5 lug or thrashed, so not even like the seats or anything are worth it? how do you tell if the headers or something are aftermarket?

they will be tubular not cast iron.

-4th gen. accord map sensor
-90-97 accord rear control arm
-89 integra gears, final gears and axles(CG tranny)
-Vigor rear sway bar

*oh yea and maybe buy a "DELTA" 272 regrind.(not a j.y. part, maybe if u get lucky!)

^^ 4th gen map sensor doesnt do anything.... dyno proven.
if u like the shift knobs better yank those they will fit. lol

sorry but whats tubular? how do you change rails? could I use the ones from my stock seats?

what do all of those do and whats their purpose? whats a delta 272 regrind and whats its purpose? on what kinda car would I find it?

edit, a delta 272 is an aftermarket cam shaft correct? what benefits does it produce?

i dynoed the 4th gen mapsensor but this is when i was obd0......it gained me 2whp and 4 foot pounds of torque....but my mpg dropped to 23mpg

Well u kno mushroom toy? he swapped out a 4g, and a 5g(i think) all in session, all the other ones did was make it run rich in the top end.

its a cam regrind. More power&torque.

my friend has an lxi hatch and he went to check the back brakes and it had dicks. i believe it was an 89.

and if it has a regrind the size should be engraved in the cam buy the gear

yeah first of all it had dicks??? that's frightening, second of all no hatch's came with disks in the us period, i don't think anywhere else either. they only accord with disks was the sei in the states. i have seen 3 sei's period so if your friend's hatch has them he's pretty lucky.

But yeah he's very lucky to have SE-i Rears on his hatch
