    Custom Intake

I know this is played out, but when i came home today i did this with an autozone filter i had and ALL THE STOCK PIPING. its not GREAT but it sounds good and looks ok. Good thread if you want to make an intake on a budget.

i know the bay is rough, but its sooo cold out and i just got the car 4 or 5 days ago. havent had time to paint and clean.

it basically sits on top of those lines behind the battery. the battery is in the way a bit also.

    airbox needs to go

anyway. i cut all the piping and used some connectors i had. i mostly used stock stuff though.

They way they designed it was to reduce the sound. damping the air moving thew the tubes so you dont get that Nice ROAR sound lol.

    Re: Custom Intake

I did that same thing to one of mine. used a dremel to cut it up and the stock connectors to put it back together. didn't keep the valve cover to intake hose tho. Nice!
