    Master Cylinder: recommended replacement?

So I've got a leak in my master cylinder and need to replace that mofo. Mechanic wants to charge me ~$400 so I'm doing it myself.

I'm stuck @ Step 1, deciding on replacement part. I did a quick search for master cylinders at Advanced Auto based on an 87 LX and the price results vary $30 to $150 and www.hondaautomotiveparts.com wants ~$200 for a replacement.

anyone have any recommendations? I'm not committed to Advanced Auto or anything, I just usually go there first when trying to get an idea of how much I should be spending on replacement parts.

I picked up a Raybestos a little while back for around $80. Turned out to be a new Nissin.

you could go with Beck. I used to work iauto parts and I'd say 99% of the time they are Japanese in the box

does this mean it wouldn't work in my car? or are you simply referring to the size of the reservoir?
