New 85 base hatch
Ok guys so i'm thinking I probably need to post some pics of the ride. Haven't taken any yet but alas as soon as I do they will be posted! Thanks for the reply 2ndgenguy, oh and i'm up in Lynnwood about 15 minutes north of Seattle to let you know. Just want to give a little history on the car and what i've done so far. Got from a friend of my womans mom who was the second owner, the previous owner was his father in law both older gentlemen,so i know that it has been serviced like clockwork and that it hasn't been hotrodded at all, all the which is good for me. On a side note with the car I also recieved service records, owners manual, original sales brochure, and the window sticker. Hows that for history! Ok now for what i've done to it for my initial major tune up: replaced BOTH fuel filters, flushed and filled brake system (time consuming), replaced motor oil(GTX 10-30) and filter(K&N), replaced tranny fluid(GTX 10-30), flushed and filled coolant(Prestone), new plugs(Diamond Fire), new wires(NASCAR), new cap & rotar(forgot the brand but it was pricey), air filter(K&N), new battery cables with quick release terminals(custom routing job), timing and idle adjusted, new PCV valve AND filter, and i think thats it! So thats the lowdown on it (SO FAR!) And the pics will be coming SOON! Not to worry!
