Crower Cams are back! ...all it took was a call

Alright guys, I just got off the phone with Crower, and they're willing to do regrinds for the A20A again. You can specify lift/duration or just specify the 'Stage' you want.

Price is $161 for any stage. These are regrinds only, but on a per request basis, I'm pretty sure they'll do a material add/grind as well. This has not been confirmed but the tech said "I'm sure we can work something out for you."

If anyone knows the reputation of Crower, it's friggin great. I had a Crower cam at one point, but sadly it was lent out for testing and never found its way back home, so I can't speak from personal experience, but they have on hell of a reputation for some sick grinds.

I'm aware. So is Delta, Colt, etc etc etc. Just tossing out more options for us that's all. The more the merrier. In fact, KMS will still do one for us, but that's to the tune of about $600+, which is quite painful.

oh my. welcome noob. haha, just kidding.

John, the owner, had been a member here on the board for a while before Site chased him off by being an ass. He was damn close to actually getting a B-series head to work on an A20A block. He also had an old SCCA racer, a '70's Civic CVCC with a high compression n/a A20A w/ quad flatslides.

Very good guy, and a guy who truly knows his shit. I've spoken to him a half-dozen times over the past 5-6 years about building up a race motor for me, but without fail, everytime I call and have money in hand, something comes up and I run out of money before I can get the project off the ground.

haha, did you ever think you would have the chance to say "there are too many options, I can't decide what to get"?

...keep your eyes peeled, I have a few shockers in the works that I hope to finalize in the coming weeks/months. ...and that's all I have to say about that.

You know, that's not a bad idea. ...let me work on that too.

EDIT: It's in the works my friend... >>>I'll let everyone know once I get more info on it. ...Don't expect anything to come of that one though because the hoops I just had to jump through to get someone one the phone, and their whole dealer/distributor/blahblahblah network, pipeline thing is a pain in the ass to deal with. Keep the faith though.

Be careful getting all this stuff going at once. We'll get them producing all this stuff again, and then nobody will be able to afford it all and they'll quit making it again!
