    What was scary about it?
Should turn like nothing p/s or not going that fast.
Brakes arent that hard to push without the booster.

granted thats all true...but when was the last time you have a car completely shut down on you in traffic, with 2 semi's trying to get payback on you for cutting them off 2 miles back...Honestly It was the dumbest thing I ever did, and because I narrowly escaped with my life (along with my buddy who was with me in florida) I have learned when to TRUELY run on the interstate and when not to....And I will never in my life cut off a truker again...those f#@$# come after you with a vengance if they ever see you again.

ive gotten my car up to 100 going down a very steep hill and it felt like it was going to fall apart around me, but then again it prolly has something to do with my really fucked alignment/suspension and stock steelies with 3 bald tires and 1 good one. and my carb is dying out on me need to put the new one on. yea i really messed up my suspension and shit when i went sideways over a median in the rain and almost rolled off a very steep embankment, and by rolling i dont mean on the wheels.

pretty much ya, just refering to what I said, and the air filter, the o2's can be cleaned with a bench top grinder(the polishing side obviously), and an improvement I have found is running synthetic in the tranny (if u have a manual)...runs alot smother in gear.

Got up to 107 on flat ground in my 89 auto coupe. It's been a while since I've tried, and I've done some mods since then.

Thats pretty intense. I haven't had a chance to go for top speed since summer time but now my max with out going bigger tires or increasing the redline is about 150mph if I can find the the right road with no traffic.

Me and my friend used to race, he has a 2002 Kia, the coupe, and I had a mustang.. he would win all the time.. when I got my accord, we raced... I cant remember the speed, well my speedomter was maxed, i think its 120 or 130mph... Stock everything, but the carb is cleaned up and adjusted a lot to my liking. Definitly didn't take me long to get to that speed, we have a lot of freeways with lots of str8aways. I'm getting a better carb, dunno how that will improve my speed since my speedomter cant really tell me more :-)

    Top Speed

I've had my 87 accord lxi hatchie up appox.128 mph!!I drive the 15 freeway south in Escondido and can get up to top spped in about 6 mi. + or -.I did recently have my speedo checked by local law enforcement! It's accurate!(73 in a 35 on Thanksgiving!!)$693 later I invested in a radar detector that works pretty good.If I can fix my rev limit problem I KNOW I can go at least 135.My mods to the engine are pretty simple right now new Venom injectors and an APC 3" straight thru muffler which ,by the way makes my car sound awesome!!Other than that...stock.My baby is EFI w/very clean intake 7mm "nascar" plug wires and simple nippon/denso v-groove plugs.

Anyone who says their accord has done much over 115 is completely full of shit, unless their car is heavily modified or they were going down a steep ass hill... If you don't have forced induction, etc, and you say you were doing like 130, then you better post a picture of it before you expect anyone to believe you. I do have forced induction, by the way. (Mitsubishi big 16g turbo/ additional injector controller/J&S Safeguard knock control, etc, etc)

i have to say these car's are capable of going at that speed so. some may take longer to get there and some maybe quicker.
and i can say on my granma's grave i went past 115.
and it was'nt a steep hill either it was chicago highway.

    Also, I said "much over 115", 120 isn't that much over 115.
