    general 3g discussion

i was reading around and found some interesting info which i read on wikipedia about the 3g accord..

The Accord's interior ranged from spartan to luxurious. In the Japanese home market, the Accord was available with a full power package, leather upholstery, heated seats, heated mirrors, a digital instrument cluster, and even climate control. The Accord Aerodeck (a three-door hatchback Accord made for Japanese and European consumers) had Recaro seats.

I'm guessing that some of these items are super rare and hard to find. I know you can do the leather from an se-i. I'm thinking that a set of aerodeck reacros would be sweet. Any ideas or just general discussion on the topic.

I plan to replace my cloth interior with leather when the time comes. It will be a long time though because the cloth is really tough.

I suspect you could travel the world over and not find those Recaro seats. Most guys put in Prelude seats.

There are no recaro seats. Aerodeck, hatchback, 2.0i-16 and coupe has the same basic front seat design.

There were no heated mirrors either. Just folding mirrors.

I do like the prelude seats they do grip ya good I just really enjoy rare jdm and euro spec items even though i'll probably never find em. its alot easier to find jdm parts for civics and tegs but these cars i havent been able to find much for.

I've learned to lean the opposite way unless I am turning right, then I just get pushed into the door.

Thats the hardest part is finding seats to match the color you got, i'd like to buy seats and match the color round that since my interior is a crap blue color anyway. Oh and i did find a picture of those recaro aerodeck seats the pattern is kinda weird but they look like they hold good.. but i'm not sure how to post it on here?

well i'm not too desperate for seats to pay $300 and not have any rear ones to go with them lol, well not untill i get some proper income anyway

    these are my favourite wheels:

that shape anyway, i'd love some for my car if i could get some rear seats to match

rare, but definitely not as rare as the recaros. hardest part about them is getting them, then rewiring them if you're lhd.

Prelude seats don't actually fit 100%, but they're the closest to it.
I figured, since the Accord was a lot smaller before 1990, CIvic & Integra seats would be a lot closer. Guess not.
