yep thats exactly what i did. PCV systems kill piston rings at high rpm's.

i want to. badly. butttt...... i can get a GSR complete swap right now so its a pretty big tossup for me. i can replicate my brothers placeracing mounts, send in his axles to the driveshaft shop and have them make me a set, and then drop in a OBD1 GSR with a new head on it. but after spending all that money i would only be in the 14's. but i would have awesome aftermarket support. and vtakkk.

or i can spend all that cash on my turbo setup and i believe i can get it into the 12's with the stock motor and good traction. plus with all my weight reduction i think i could do it.

    i dunno.

i need help. i cant make up my mind. helppppp!

what do you guys think i should do???

    Re: MY 89 Coupe

If you're keeping the car for a while I'd spring for the GSR swap. Even if you're not as fast to begin with, you'll have a way better engine and equally better possibilities for it. You can always build that motor.

If you're not set on keeping a 20-year-old Accord for a few more years maybe just buy the turbo, have some cheap laughs, and take less of a loss when you sell it.
