Has anyone tried this and then put a light candy blue on them to make them show up blue, cause if that was to work you could use any candy paint color you wanted, and put LED lights behind it to make it brighter

Welcome to the site. Nice ride. Love the cluster lights.
Remeber boys and girls Coupes rule, Hatchies drule, and 4 doors are for mothers..........
with the LEDs you want to lightly sand the plastic lens of the whole LED this will defuse the light and make it more like a bulb. should look frosted and translucent.
well inside it they had the badass green bulb condoms on the lights along with the green film..i bet you could sand it all white then find some bulb condoms or something to cover the lights to change the color.
maybe some bright white leds and get some of that flimsy studio clear plastic light covers.. you could cut it to cover the backs of the plates, i dunno just an idea, ill try it next time i have it apart
nice 3g! i love the clear white lights

I just found out that you can only do this with denso plates. The ns plates are made differently. They dont have the green film on the back, theirs are made into the front of the plate. Unlike the denso where it has the film on the back that you can just sand smooth.
The two are actually quite different. I believe I posted something along the same lines of what you said a while back. The NS are the best for a led conversion, as there's two extra bulb holders. For other colors there's a couple blue spots you can't get at. The coloring is mainly given with the bulb condoms, so if choose something other than blue or green, it'll work except for a few spots. You are never going to get everything to light evenly without the black printing on the back.
Makes me feel like such a ricer driving the auto now. My conversion is masterful, but the stock is so much more... classic.

i wonder if i can find some needles that are clear from another car that will look the same as the 3gee ones. just so itll light up with the gauges.
Anybody got any ideas on how to do the climate controls? I really wouldnt mind finding the sexyass jdm digi controls![]()
