    My 88 Accord

Hey im new on this site so i thought that id show some pics of my 1988 Honda Accord 4 door, havnt really done anything to it besides the sound system that consists of, two Alpines in the front doors, two Alpine 6x9 in the rear, and two 10'' Kicker Comp CVR Subwoofers with a 600Watt Alpine Amp that i will soon be getting replaced with a 2000Watt amp soon. hope you enjoy the pics of my car.

welcome i would stick with the 600watt the 2000 is way to much for that sub even though im sure it wont be anywere near 2000rms lol

those cvr dont take more then say 300rms to run anymore then that and all your getting is distortion

I recommend going with a magnaflow muffler and 2.25 pipe, pacesetter header or a DC if you can find one.

You can blow up a 1000wRMS sub with 100 watts, and you can put a 2000wRMS amp on a Funky Pup... You need the right box and turn the Bass Boost down.

If you build your own audio systems, check out my thread on Car Audio.

    Re: My 88 Accord

I agree with Pico on that, but in my opinion You sud have stereo good enough for you to feel the wave of bass, You dont need to play for all the ppl on the street
    Good 600W RMS amplifier and 1 Sub 10" 250RMS
and some really good 4 ways in the back and good 2 ways in the dors and maybe 2 tweakers with their own amplifier.. dont need more actually. Rattles in the car is nono

Its prttey fnuny how you can raed tihs eintre snetnece with all tehse ellters out of palce...

Gain is so you can match your input voltage, not control the volume. Set the gain correctly, and set the bass boost accordingly.
