Need a little 5-Speed SWAP INFO

What can I use from the A18A1 Dual Carb engine from the LUDE?
and what about it's shifter and cables and pedal brackets...

I'm pretty sure it's been asked before... I may have to buy a new A20 for around 200-300 at the same time. but then I may just go to an auction cause I've seen a 5-speed LX or DX coupe for about 600 lowest offer. not sure if it runs though.

    K thanks guys.

You cant use the pedals or the shift rods from the prelude. I swapped to 5spd using a Lude Si tranny and I literally got EVERYTHING from it, but I couldnt use the pedals or the shift rods.

I used the 2nd Gen lude tranny. It bolted straight up! If you use the Lude DX tranny you will need the flywheel and axles because they are different than the Accord and Lude Si stuff.

    OK so
I can use the tranny but the flywheel and the axles won't work... so i need the accord flywheel and axles right?

I'm sorry, I know how it's sometimes frustrating answering the same posts over and over can be.

    No no...
If you use the Carbed prelude stuff you will need the flywheel and axles from the carbed prelude. If you use the fuel injected prelude tranny you can use an Accord flyhweel or a prelude fuel injected one. You can also the accord axles (5spd)

Ok, if its an a18a lude then you're going to need to swap the diff with an accord diff. No way around it, your axles wont match the splines on that diff. Hold out for an Si unless you want to do alot of work. You'll need the accord linkages and pedals, neither the Si or DX lude will work, both have the same linkages and pedals btw.
