I don't like gold but the pattern is cool...

These white ones scream 1980s though. I really like these.

16's are too big for an old school look man! Go with 15x7 or 14x7 suits the car a lot better IMO

    Re: new wheel possibly

honestly i would prefer 15's. some rims just dont come that small. if i find a set that i like, i will definatly try for the 15 over the 16.

nice options there. check out DRAG wheels, they are pretty cheap and the majority of the wheels are 15". fairly light too, and never heard any complaints about them being prone to cracking or warping.

I really like the top two options the best.

Drag makes a good replica of the Works, think it's DR20?
    Seen them on several VWs.

I like all of those except the first equip gold rim, because it did have an old school pontiac-ness look. Loveed the other gold ones though, and the white one if it was for a red or white car.

    Re: new wheel possibly

Does anyone remember DP motorsport? I had a set of DP-5's (white 5-spokes) on my 86 hatch with 195 50 15s. I think American Racing made a cheap repro of them back in the 90's. When I find the ad I will scan and post--those were old school for real...Who makes the ones on this thread?

Heres an old advertisement for DP wheels. 20 years ago I saw this ad and have to have these wheels. I went with the DP-5s with 195/50/15s back in 1990...
