Help, Just got a 87 Hatchback LX-I

Hey all,

First off I think this page is a real good resource to the 3rg GEN accord owner.
Now that the a$$ kissing is out of the way.

My G/f just got a 1987 Accord Hatchback LX-I. She wants me to help her do it all up. I was woundering if anyone had any extra mods for sale and or where can i get the parts resonably priced.

Also i read somwhere the ECU will work out of the 88 LX prelude? is this true, how much HP gain is there.

The ECU from a 86-87 Prelude SI will work. Only the SI though and it only works for the 86-87 Accords. First thing you can do is get a 92-95 Civic intake and cut about 2inches off and slap that on or look at my sig and make your own intake. Then find yourself either a DC sport header which are hard to find or get a Pacesetter header. Then get a 2.25" cat back piping with any muffler of choice. That should give some nice gains. If you still want some more pep get a reground cam from Openloop motorsports.

Will any ECU's drop into the 88-89 Accord LXi's?

But the SEi ecu is the same since it has the same motor/drivetrain correct?
I figureded that the 88-89 LXi ECU would go into a 88-89 LXi :-D
