Ok ghettogeddy called this a while back it's time for a change. It is getting quite annoying with all the site errors and we have mod's on here who don't even have a Accord anymore and some of them are not even here half of the time. The time for change is now. lets get this board back on it's feet let's get some fresh blood in here for mod's and retire that are not here as much as they should be and those who don't have accord's anymore. Let's get some poeple who will pull a 110% in to this board as Mod's and get this site back to the way it was.

is this a joke?? If there were/any mods that did not want to be part of the site I am sure they could or would say something. I do not believe anyone is holding a gun to their head and forcing them to be a mod.

i noticed that was fail as. but something needs to be done, no other site has this amount of errors, seems to be mucking up every 2nd day

theirs nothing wrong with the mods and admins now but what hes saying is back when most of you had a 3g and cared more about them you were prolly 300X active in the site and that most have seen a decline in mod and admin activity in the last 3 years lol


most of us would like to see more active higher ups i check 3geez 30+ times a day

same as a few others tommy included most the time you have to contact someone and by that time 100 people are itching to post lol we dont say this is a drug to us for nothign we actually get antsy when the the site is down lol

True dat. I get kinda antsy when there's no 3geez. Especially when I'm in the middle of a project, and the site just got hacked so I can't check the how-to or something stupid like that. Not saying it's the mod's fault, but there's some mods that I hardly ever see anymore.

What i am trying to get across and this is how it should be. To be a mod on 3geez they should own a Accord but if the mod sell's his Accord and move's on to another vehicle he should pass the torch on to someone else on the site.

I'm confused as to why you all think mods are slacking on here.

We don't have a lot of spammers, the e-arguments are all pretty mild even at their worst and everything generally runs smoothly, server errors notwithstanding.

If you see a problem, just report the post and it gets dealt with accordingly.

what is going on with the site crashing all the time anyway? is the V bulletin outdated? I do have to give credit for it being fixed as soon as it's possible, took a while with Ahab the A rab high jacking it,but that's no ones fault. I'm not complaining but I was just wondering whats going on? it' data base error as often as not, it it our server? we do need to change a few areas around though to help bring in the new guys, i started a post on that and they responded, when a new person comes on here we need to do more to make them feel welcome and show that we are glad they are here. they may not know anything about the car they just bought, but they can learn anything they need to know here. I' m willing to help out if I can in any way. I'm one of the older members on here. been here forever,was even lurking on the old board.

Server =/= vbulletin. Vb is just the forum software.

It's been happening on my own forum as well, and other vbulletin sites I frequent. Something with the mysql server.

I'd say the admins are fairly active. Fixing the site at least a few times per week.

Yeah the forum problems are not the mods or admins fault I'ts happening on other forums i go on as well .

And i don't think we should retire any of the older mods and i defiantly don't think you should have to own a 3g to be a mod.

Instead of retiring mods it wouldn't be such a bad idea to add 1 or 2 more new mods.
But I don't really see a need for it as this forum does not have a shit load of jack ass's posting on it daily and really dose not get spamed and does not get 1200 posts a day like some other forums .

There's nothing wrong with MySQL. Only the programs that are trying to improperly operate with it. It runs on millions of servers without problems daily.

dam you left out 2ndGenGuy eek, and Mark.. on every day almost.
all of those have been active in the past 9 months Gheddy, well not sure about MrBen maybe 12 mo for him.
There is the guy with the (avatar) homer simpson wtih turbo on the brain,was on everyday and just dropped out. Can't remember the name but I can find it pretty quick. Shepherd79

mods and admins arent here just to fix things and ban and shit. when it gets to that point is when its time for a change when mods see the site as only signing on cause somethings wrong

mods are active forum posters people who constantly on and ready to help with out having to send an email lol

86AccordLxi from your post it sounds as if you think were attacking you but its not like that, were looking for replacements of the non active mods and admins the ones that just lurk in the back cause there eather to busy with life (witch is fine) or are just on to fix a prob

and cah adding one or 2 doesn't fix the ones that rarely show up anymore

I think it also BS that a mod needs to have an Accord or even be on the site regularly. If the person is knowledgeable, fair, and respectful of members it should not matter what they drive. Just because someone is not a post whore or spends 24/7 on a computer or message board does not necessarily mean they do not care.
