Hi Guys,

So far this car has been somewhat of a nightmare. I bought for $500 to give to my parents so they would have a car, but it has pretty much had nothing but problems. My dad wanted to pay for whatever work it needed, since I paid for the car itself. We took it to a place that did a great job replacing the clutch in my Legend. I guess it was a mistake taking it there.

So far he's spent $700 to have a the carb tweeked, a new distributer cap and rotor put on, new spark plugs, new alternator, new fuel pump, and new muffler.

I think they screwed him because it still isn't running the way it should (idles over 1000 RPM, it misses and sputters at times, and doesn't always want to start). That being said, it does run and it is getting him and my Mom around town.
