    Re: 16s

Any special reason the size of the wheels matters?
You'll rub or not rub regardless of your wheels (within reason) if your overall tire diameter is the same (as in 16s with smaller sidewalls).

I'm running 215-45r16's with a 2.25 drop on sprint springs. I had to roll my fenders in the back because of my tire size though.

I just realized I don't really have any pics of my car from the side.

Here's one, sort of. Far left car. The rear drop is more like 1.75

oh yes. toneloc needs to try 17s.. cause his car just doesnt seem low enough, but that 17 will fill up that finder well...

but now that i look at pico's.. i liked that one two.. so ill add another car w/ 17's to the list..

I would of kept the 17's at the time I had them but the car was at stock height, I hadnt lowered it yet and sat too high for me

    Re: 16s

    welcome to the board lxaccord.

Just like Joay said, it's not really about the wheel diameter. The important facts about the wheels are the width and offset. ...then make sure you maintain the same total outer diameter for the tire you choose.

So to answer your question: Yes, you can easily drop 2" on 16's, and do it without any special mods (minus the suspension you'll need to handle a 2" drop). This can be done if you pick the right wheel/tire combo, and you won't rub a bit at all.
