didnt know if someone else had posted it before, but i did a little bit of searching before posting...
i went to auto zone the other day looking for a K&N air filter that would be a direct replacement for the air filter that i got with the 38/38 kit. it took a bit of measuring and 2 attempts, but we finally got it right.
just in case anyone was interested...
and they even threw in a couple stickers, if you're in to that kinda thing...
I know what I'm getting now...
I got a filter in a kit for my weber, but it looks kinda crappy. Really thin. K&Nish, but not at all. Anyone else have a similar experience

ill take some pix later, but it looks JUST like the one that came with carb... just a plain ol rectangle.
here's the old filter, they are the same size/shape.
Same height too? Man you really should get the taller one, IMO it breathes much better, and won't have the restriction of the top of the cleaner being right over the chokes...

Oh hmm. I guess it might be an issue on your cars, I don't really know. No problem on the 2geez or 1geez. Too bad you weren't a bit closer, I'd let you test fit mine.
