sure it looks cool. but dumping raw fuel through your entire system CANT be good for it. So the novelty wears off.

It may look cool coming out of an old street rod but not a civic or an accord.

umm.. the exhaust system is long.. just dont let off on the gas till the switch is off and the flames have stopped.. if the gases are flowing out, they cant go back

ohya...you can't even do this if you run a CAT. the fuel must travel freely to the end. even a high flow cat won't work.

Overall its not worth it. oooo flames...big deal. its just another way to be a poser. my car is so damn fast it shoots flames at the red lightz yo...PLEASE don't do it!!!

Your burning unburnt fuel. u need a 12 power sourse(hot wire), toggle switch, coil, long coil wire, spark plug, mig welder/brazing torch, drill, nut , just do it about a foot from end of tailpipe, hook it all up make sure u have a spark at plug 1st by turning toggle swicth on and off fast, just don't have a leaking fuel tank or boom!

After I gutted my cat and cut off my muffler I was getting a lot of back fire. I tried to adjust the carb but I made it worse and I was shoting out flames.

We had a rather large thread about flaming exhaust. In fact I think I had it as a sticky thread at one point.

You should just be able to pick up a relay like that at a auto store or an electronic parts store.

OK i got a 12v coil and spark plug and wire from buddy. Kinda broke so cant get a relay. So could i just wire the coil, push button and spark plug and make it spark like that?

With out the relay you've got full current/voltage going through that push button. I have no idea what the current draw would be but it's probably more that your switch can handle.

I would think you could use just a standard bosh relay from any stereo and alarm shop
