Well guys, today has been horrible, first off, my timing belt has either slipped or somethings going on, because I'm barely making ANY power... second, I was driving home from school, and a damn cop pulls me ovwer. evedently my sound system is too loud. You think he'd give me a warning? Nope, $75 dollar fucking ticket! Plus, my alt. ( which ive replaced 3 times now...) is making a horrible noise at idle, but as soon as i get any rpm, it goes away. I've been told its a bearing, and thats what it sounds like it is...
Just thought I'd vent..

get a parts car, and did u get a new alt? If so u should have like a year or 2 warranty on it.

But i feel ur pain man, I gotta replace my fucking intake valve again! 2nd time in less then a month and a half....

I have a parts car. But yes, the alt. has already been replaced once, so i have no more "warranty" on it.

^^ that sucks. Buy a new one and trade it in/return it saying it died stupid fast. lol. Keep doing that....

get a napa alternator...mine puts out like 80amps...its really good stuff

i feel ur pain too dude, my alt is about to die...voltage reads at 12 no matter how fast motor turns. I guess thats what you get for putting a 5farad capacitor does to a shitty advanced auto alt
