I have a 135amp one that I bought of Ebay and it's been great so far.

There is a company who makes a 160amp alternator as well. I don't know who they are anymore, but I had my local parts store look it up. It was chrome and gold plated, and was like $450.

ok i did some lookin ad powermaster is the company that has the 170 amp but they want like 500 bucks from jegs for it i was lookin at spending maybe 200 bucks would i be able to run 2 like optima red caps in place to get more holding power for the system cuz i plan on getting a orion 5000d to run my two orion hcca 10s and that is alot of drain for just a meezly oem 60 amp alt you know

Also a 4gen alternater has more amps and works just fine but you need to add some washers since the base is a little shorter then the stock alt. So plugs and all that same and just need to add washers. idk do a search lol

I got a legend alt in mine...120amp, just needed to add some washers


and watch out for those alt..some of them are rewound alts...and those put out next to nothing at idle
