    ready to buy a weber carb...

    ok- ive been going through some l8me ass problems with the stock carb. i looked around for a 4th gen or maybe a civic coupe but around this town the used cars suck, their either scratch to s#it or the engine is f#kd or the transmission is gunna die!
    i washed my car today and.. well im ready to buy a weber carb i finally got some $$$ saved up and im looking at webers right now and im ready to buy.
    nut i reeelee dont want much problems installing it. im looking at the 38 which do you recomend?

    I'd go with the 38 unless you really really really care about gas mileage. If that's the case then go for the 32/36. They're both the same complexity as far as install goes, and tuning them is pretty easy.

    My 38 isn't even working right yet, and it is still better than the stock carb.

    the way the weather is now, 80 one day and 40 the next, is aggrivating for these carbs .. BUT still better than oem by far.
    just have to turn the mix out a quarter turn for the colder temps or just live with it, still does not have runaway idle or stalling.

    hells yea, cold one day REALLY cold the next, i had to up my idle a bit so it can always idle, regardless of the temp.

    You can get the 32/36 weber all day long on ebay, just be ready to rebuild a used one. Here is a 38/38 you don't find often at this price. Guy will list one every once in a while.
